I began taking a class earlier this month designed to teach actors essential skills to improve their marketability. According to the instructor, a logo should be part of the marketing communications strategy of all actors. And it’s desirable that the logo be comprised of the actor’s initials. For me, that means “R” and “J.”
I’ve always liked the lower-case alphabet. On my website, I use lower-case letters almost globally. And the favicon for my site is the lower-case “r” and “j” side-by-side: rj.
So my logo would also need to be a lower-case “r” and “j”, but much bolder. In Photoshop, I typed “rj” and toggled between the various fonts to see what “rj” I responded to. This particular “rj” caught my eye:
What do you think?
