Is the weather outside frightful?

Just a breather to share some pictures from the January 27, 2011 "snowpocolypse."

Walking along Dean St in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, enroute to the subway.

Another tree.

I have a warm spot for snow-covered tree branches.

Cars. Buried. Standing at Washington Ave and Dean St., looking toward the other side of Dean... no-plow land. At Washington Ave & Atlantic Ave. Entering Clinton Hill. This is one of my favorite Brooklyn buildings. A block away from the subway in Clinton Hill. I bet these folks saw this and said, "Let. Me. Find. My. MetroCard.... NOW. Who doesn't love a Brooklyn brownstone? Something about this shot just felt very Chicago to me. I don't know why. At Washington Ave and Fulton St, about to enter the subway. I took this because Fulton St is a major throughfare... one would never have an opportunity to take a picture of it looking like this. Now in the city (Manhattan). Pictures of Union Square Park. I saw this an just had to take a picture. I just envisioned snow-covered newsies. (Let me have my sick thought.) Reverse.
